Call for speaker

Space technologies are delivering greater value to a more diverse set of stakeholders than ever before.  The latest space developments – cost reduction, miniaturization, better access to space - give space technologies the potential to reshape whole industries and have an unprecedented impact on business and society.  The Newspace Europe conference focuses on new space developments and more specifically on how space businesses and companies can contribute to space-for-earth activities.

We invite you to share your knowledge, insights, and experiences on the stage of Newspace Europe.

In-person participation is mandatory for all speakers. Please note that all proposals will be carefully reviewed by our selection committee, and selected based on relevance, quality, presenter credibility and presentation format. We encourage you to submit your proposal early to secure your chance and become a part of this exciting event. Please feel free to suggest multi-stakeholder sessions (in the form of a panel for instance) as well.

The 3 main topics covered by Newspace Europe are :

  • Services from Space for Earth : What are the next services that space will be able to provide to terrestrial customers ?
  • Technology from Space for Earth : how can technologies developed for space be of use on terrestrial markets / industries.
  • Products from Space for Earth : What are the next business cases of in space manufacturing ?

Contributions on any topic related to the main theme of the event are welcome, but shall be highlighting projects having a direct impact on terrestrial activities, with partnerships developed with end users or with intermediaries leading to an entry in a terrestrial market.
We are particularly interested in contributions that will highlight the role space can play for developing the financial sector.

Proposals will be evaluated by a multi-disciplinary team and selected against the following criteria:

  • Relevance: with respect to our focus areas and target audience
  • Quality Content: with respect to newness and practical value being created for the audience
  • Presenter Credibility: Expertise and experience of the speaker relative to the proposed subject and format
  • Presentation Format: Suitability of the format and implementation feasibility

Results are foreseen to be announced to proposers no later than the end of September 2024.
