CMIN2022 – ACTIVELY PREPARING FOR ESA’S UPCOMING MINISTERIAL COUNCIL

2022 will be marked by the organization of the Council meeting at Ministerial level of the European Space Agency which will provide the basic policy guidelines to develop the European space program.

As an important space player on the European and international stage, it is the opportunity for Luxembourg to take new stakes in the existing and newly proposed programs of the agency.

To encourage the development and contribution of the national space ecosystem in the country’s positioning, several workshops are to be organized throughout the year to consult with the companies active in the space sector about their plans and needs for the future.

The first workshop took place on 28 March 2022 with the objective of informing the ecosystem about the current program proposals of ESA. The following topics were addressed during the session:

-        Telecommunications and Integrated Applications

-        Navigation

-        Earth Observation

-        Space Safety

-        Human Spaceflight and Exploration

-        Technology Development

-        ScaleUp! And EEE Initiative

More details about the next workshops will follow soon.
