Symbiose Management develops an AI- and Earth Observation-powered forest intelligence platform that transforms forest assets into measurable, monitorable and financially actionable natural-capital assets. The company combines satellite imagery, LiDAR, radar, climate and field data with forest models to assess forest condition, structure, species composition, biomass, carbon, climate exposure, disturbances and future evolution. Its mission is to provide forest owners, institutional investors, insurers, corporates and public institutions with reliable, scalable and auditable intelligence for forest monitoring, certification readiness, climate-risk management, valuation and investment decision-making. Symbiose connects space technology, AI, sustainable finance, insurance and forest management in one integrated environment.

Products and services

Symbiose Management offers an integrated digital platform that brings together four core services:

1. Forest monitoring and inventory: maps, stand and tree-level indicators, canopy condition, biomass, carbon and species composition; 
2. FSC certification support: preparation of structured, traceable evidence for certification and audit workflows; 
3. Climate-risk analytics: wildfire, windstorm, drought, pest and disease exposure layers; 
4. Forest valuation: spot and forward valuation, growth scenarios and asset-level decision support; 

Users submit a region of interest, and Symbiose creates the corresponding forest asset or portfolio on the platform, with maps, indicators, risk layers and valuation outputs. The platform can also generate automatic PDF reports, GIS layers and structured data/API outputs for external systems.

Major space projects

Symbiose Management participates in space ESA activities including a Kick-Start project on Earth Observation-based wildfire risk and parametric forest-cover services, and a demonstration project focused on digitalising forest certification processes.
