Yuri's BioSpin mission on the ISS showcases Luxembourg innovation!

Following its successful launch in September last year, Yuri’s ScienceTaxi BioSpin facility is currently operating on the International Space Station on its inaugural HUMB mission. This represents an important milestone for the Luxembourg space community, as the Luxembourg‑developed and tested BioSpin is demonstrating its ability to autonomously perform complex life science experiments in microgravity, equipped with precise temperature control and real-time data collection. The mission also carries an experiment from the Luxembourgish company Astrobiome, which is studying how space conditions affect its microbiome-based biostimulant solution. When the ScienceTaxi returns, it will enable researchers to analyse the impact of microgravity on all experiments conducted.
