Space Cargo Unlimited Signs Contract to Conduct In-Space Manufacturing aboard SpaceX’s Starfall Re-entry Vehicle

Luxembourg-based Space Cargo Unlimited has secured a landmark contract to launch its next-generation, one-tonne "BentoBox" space factory aboard SpaceX’s Starfall return capsule. Slated to fly on a Starship rocket no earlier than 2028, this mission represents a massive leap for commercial in-space manufacturing. By scaling payload capacity from 100 kilograms up to a full metric ton, the mission will provide the power and autonomous services needed to turn microgravity into a practical, commercially viable environment for producing high-value materials for Earth.
