NeoSpace Europe – Navigating Emerging Opportunities

NeoSpace Europe - Navigating Emerging Opportunities

For several years now, Luxembourg has positioned itself as a global hub for commercial space through a national strategy focused on creating an attractive environment for businesses. Today, Luxembourg’s space ecosystem has grown to encompass over 80 specialised companies and research organisations. The sector employs approximately 1,650 professionals and contributes nearly 1,73% to the national GDP, with expertise ranging from satellite communications and Earth observation to the pioneering field of space resources.

Launched in 2017, NewSpace Europe served as Luxembourg’s flagship event for commercial space, with the objective of providing a platform that mirrors the industry’s fast-moving reality. In response to the ecosystem’s growing needs, the Luxembourg Space Agency is unveiling a new concept and identity for its leading space industry gathering.

Entering the Neo Era - Space Economy’s next frontier

LSA is officially launching its first edition of NeoSpace Europe with the tagline “Navigating Emerging Opportunities”. “New” morphs into “Neo”, signifying the evolution of Luxembourg’s annual conference. Echoing the valuable feedback provided by our attendees throughout previous editions, this transition re-centres the event around in-depth, future oriented content and interactive sessions.

It’s an opportunity for industry players to take a more active role in the conference’s agenda, by either becoming a Speaker, bringing expertise and valuable insights to share with a high-level assembly or, by submitting a challenge, supporting talents to work on real-life use-cases.

Taking place at Luxexpo the Box on 20 October 2026, NeoSpace Europe is designed as a highly interactive and commercially driven event that puts networking, collaboration and business development at the centre of the experience.

This structure allows for a streamlined experience, where attendees can choose to partake in what’s relevant to their specific professional objectives and manage their time accordingly.

Dedicated halls and thematics

NeoSpace Europe is structured around dedicated environments hosting exclusive presentations. These sessions are led by high-level speakers from the space ecosystem, sovereign agencies and global industry leaders.

The “Neo Stage” embodies the event’s institutional junction, providing a forum for retrospective analysis over the past decade, essential benchmarks on past initiatives and macroeconomic trends shaping the current and future landscapes.

In parallel, different thematic areas offer specialised sessions. On one hand, the “Business in Space” node focuses on commercialisation, finance or talent development among other themes, while “New Tech in space” node is dedicated to subjects purely related to emerging technologies in space and their impact on the sector.

Starring Space Women

To ensure the sector’s future is built on a more inclusive and diverse foundation of expertise, Neo Stage is hosting fireside chats featuring female professionals in space. This initiative aims to amplify women’s voices, provide a visible roadmap for those entering the field, and inspire the next generation of talent in STEM.

Optimised networking opportunities

Positioned as a central hub for commercial space in Europe, NeoSpace Europe is the ideal place for business contacts to evolve into concrete, long-term partnerships.

This year, the networking and matchmaking infrastructure have been designed for maximum impact. A dedicated 1-to-1 matchmaking area aims at facilitating potential commercial partnerships while a cosy Space Café offers a more informal zone for free-flowing exchange and spontaneous connections.

For the first time, talents join NSE

A talent-focused challenge is planned from the 19th to the 20th of October, bringing together near-graduates and doctoral candidates enrolled in space-related programmes across Europe. Divided in teams, they will be tasked with solving real-world technical, legal, and economic use-cases.

Over the course of the challenge, the students will work under their mentor’s supervision to refine their solutions before presenting them to a professional jury. All projects without exceptions are then given the platform to pitch their results on the Neo Stage, in front of a high-level assembly.

This unique format provides companies an ideal environment to meet and connect with the next generation of talents, defining the future of the European space workforce and the evolving needs of the space industry.
