AIRMO Raises €5M Seed Funding to Power World's Most Advanced Greenhouse Gas Monitoring System from Air and Space

Luxembourg-based space tech company AIRMO has successfully raised €5M in seed funding to tackle the $30BN methane leak crisis using a world-first hybrid of SWIR imaging and micro-LiDAR technology. Led by Ananda Impact Ventures, this capital injection will propel the company toward its first satellite mission in 2027, transitioning AIRMO from successful airborne pilots with giants like TotalEnergies and Uniper to a continuous, spaceborne monitoring network. By shrinking advanced greenhouse gas sensors into a small satellite platform, AIRMO finally offers the energy sector a high-precision, affordable solution to capture the 70% of methane leaks that currently go unreported.
